Literacy

In room 6 we have been poetry for writing.
A Haiku is a poem what doesn't rhyme.
A Haiku only uses 3 lines & 17 syllables. The
first and  last lines have 5  syllables and the
middle line has 7 syllables.
I would like to share some:

Wonderful Miss G
28 children to teach
a clever teacher

The cows on the farm
their milk going off quite fast
 big fat silly cows

Autumn leaves falling
on the very hard ground swoosh!
Swoosh, swoosh on the ground

By Tristan

Haiku

Golden wrinkly leaves
mysterious secret leaves
I am a fantastic leaf!
